Discovery of the cadaver of the explorer who added Australia on map.
Matthew Flinders is the first explorer who made Australia’s turn. His cadaver was found on 25th January next to London railway station. It was one of the busiest.
He made his Australia’s turn between 1802 and 1803. Today he is regarded as a hero. Many cities, streets, square have his name.
Nevertheless, this expedition is contested because it represents the destruction of the aboriginal’s culture and societies.
We do not know which position we should adopt. Indeed, this geographic advance helped Australia to grow whereas the impact on aboriginal population has been disastrous…
