This weekend, the Italian team of Pro Piacenza played a match against Cuneo for the third Italian league. This team didn’t have enough money to pay his players and had to forfeit his three last matches. If they didn’t play this weekend, they would be excluded of the league. In order to not be excluded, the players of the team played at seven players instead of eleven players.

In fact they had to be eight but the eighth player didn’t have his identity papers. Finally it’s the physiotherapist of the team who replaced him.

After twenty minutes Pro Piacenza lost 9-0 and the players lost their determination. Moreover, the physiotherapist was injured…

Finally Cuneo won 20-0 and Pro Piacenza was excluded of the league because the president of the Italian federation of football judged this match as a farce.

What a joke ! I didn't know this horrible story ( by the way it was so interesting ) and it's so unfair for the players of the team Pro Piacenza. They didn't deserv this humiliation and I'm so sorry for them.
