A woman beats the pi world record

3,14 are the first decimals of the number pi and also the must known but extending this sequence is very difficult. Emma Haruka Iwao is a Google employee that found the new digits of the famous number with Google cloud computer's service. The calculation took 170TB, which is the same ammount of storage as 3400000 music tracks. To say all these numbers, il will take you 332,064 years. The number pi is very useful not only to calculate the measures of circles but also the period of a pendulum for example. To conclude, what this woman made is a very hard job and we should be all very thankful to her for what she has done.
