This is the equivalent of five plastic grocery bags stuffed with plastic trash on every foot of coastline around the world. Plastic pollution in the ocean has dire implications for all marine life as well as humans, indeed our entire planet. Today there is 300 millions tons of plastic in the sea and if we do nothing it will increase to 455 millions in 2019.There is more plastic bags than fish in the sea.
